The location is prime for exploring, with Kiyomizudera Temple, Gion, and Nishiki Market all within walking distance. The room had a nice fridge and solid water pressure in the shower.
Rooms are cramped with awkward shapes and limited storage. The A/C isn't adjustable by guests, leading to an uncomfortable chill if not turned off completely. Housekeeping could improve. noted were stains on linens and leftover trash from previous guests.

What makes it worth it – and what doesn’t
Location near the serene Yasaka Shrine and easy access to kimono rentals were fantastic. Comfortable beds and helpful staff made my stay enjoyable.
The room size was a bit cramped, and sound isolation was lacking, making it hard to have peaceful nights.

The location is truly remarkable, with easy access to nearby attractions like Yasaka Shrine and Gion, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff was polite and accommodating, enhancing the overall experience. However, the rooms were quite small and could feel stuffy due to centralized heating. Noise from street traffic was noticeable at times, which may disturb light sleepers. Amenities were sufficiently basic, without much additional comfort provided.

Incredible location with amazing local experiences
I loved staying here due to its prime location right in front of Yasaka Shrine and the surrounding streets filled with charm. Exploring Gion's quiet alleys at night and finding delicious street food was a highlight. The spacious room made our stay comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a nice variety that satisfied our cravings. I wish the Wi-Fi was better, as it was quite slow during our stay.

Perfect spot for exploring!
We really loved the location, super close to Yasaka Shrine and all the cute streets of Gion! The staff were super nice and helped us with our bags, which was cool. Just wish the room had a bit more space. it felt cramped, especially with the furniture layout. The dining area was nice for grabbing breakfast too.
